ABOUT US
OEH stands for one every hour which was the rescue that Ian ran for so many years prior to us opening Sakima's Sanctuary on Jan 1st 2023 in memory of his dog Sakima.
Sakima's Sanctuary is our rescue and rehabilitation kennels which we are kindly using from Helen and Pieter Burke, they are the land owners and have recently retired and couldn’t bear to see the kennels go unused and so offered them to Ian to create Sakima's Sanctuary.
The sanctuary for any breed of dog, who for whatever reason needs a safe place for decompression, rehabilitation and to learn how to trust the human race again.

We had some dogs desperately needing rehabilitation, but with costs being so expensive for more than one dog, we was struggling to find anywhere. One of my admin team came across OEH and I'm so glad we found them. Our dogs lives have changed forever and that's because of them. Forever grateful to them for saving them and for changing their lives
